Jean Louise Santo, MD is a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain medicine physician at Advanced PainCare and BioHealth Institute in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. Dr. Santo felt drawn to the field of medicine and knew after completing medical school that she would always put patients first and do everything possible to make a difference in their lives.
After completing her Doctor of Medicine at Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dr. Santo completed an internship in general surgery at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Dr. Santo did her residency training in anesthesiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. She then relocated to Augusta, Georgia to complete pain medicine fellowship training at the Medical College of Georgia. She’s also certified in age management medicine by Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation.
Dr. Santo is affiliated with CARE Esthetics, a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP), the Spine Intervention Society (SIS), the Pennsylvania Medical Society, the Interventional Orthopedics Foundation (IOF), and the American Medical Association (AMA).
As a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain medicine she was an early adopter of regenerative injections and has been utilizing non-surgical injections of platelets and bone marrow concentrate therapies for orthopedic conditions to patients for more than 10 years. With a focus on comprehensive wellness, Dr. Santo aims to provide the most advanced care using the least harmful therapies. She is excited to offer an option for patients to enhance their beauty and reverse the aging process all naturally with the use of PRF injections.
Jamie Shirey, Nurse Practitioner is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at Advanced PainCare & BioHealth Institute in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. Jamie takes a holistic approach to patient care, focusing on their whole health, not their pain or diagnosis.
After completing her associate’s degree in nursing at Harrisburg Area Community College in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Jamie went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and her Master of Science in Nursing at Millersville University in Millersville, Pennsylvania. She also completed pain management training at the University of Maryland, Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
In addition to treating patients with chronic pain conditions, Jamie helps patients achieve their wellness, weight loss, and anti-aging goals by helping patients identify ways to optimize their nutrition, utilizing bio-identical hormone replacement therapy and peptide therapy. At Advanced PainCare & BioHealth Institute, the providers have been using regenerative treatments for musculoskeletal injuries for years and have seen the benefit firsthand. She is excited to offer regenerative procedures to help patients reverse the aging process and enhance beauty so that they look as good on the outside as they feel on the inside.
Jamie is affiliated with CARE Esthetics, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is a professional member of the Academy of Anti-aging Medicine, the North American Menopause Society (NAMS), and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
